“I moved to the UK in 1997 and originally, I'm from Kashmir where I did my early schooling. When I started working in the UK, I realised I needed to improve my skills and get a higher qualification from a UK university. That's when a friend told me about the Scholar School System. I joined it in 2019 and it was a great decision. 

The teachers at Scholar School were really supportive and I learned a lot from them. The whole team there, including the management and support staff, were brilliant. I spent four years at the school and learned everything I needed to know about running a business. 

Now, I have my own company called Gig Recycling Ltd. We recycle second-hand clothes, shoes, and various decorative items. All the skills I picked up at college have been really useful in setting up and growing my business.”
