The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and meticulous Exams and Assessment Officer to join our Birmingham campus. This is a key position combining data management, quality assurance, and student support, directly contributing to our students’ academic success.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage exam schedules, venues, invigilators, and resources across campuses.
Administer exams in accordance with SSS/LTU policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in exam papers, scripts, and results processing.
Support students with special assessment arrangements to ensure fair access to examinations.
Monitor exam integrity, oversee internal moderation, and manage accurate records.
Act as the primary point of contact for all exam-related queries and issues.
Identify and implement improvements to exam and assessment processes.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher, ideally with a focus on statistical data handling or higher education.
Minimum of two years’ experience in exam administration or a similar role within a higher education institution.
Level 7 qualification in statistical data processing.
Experience working in higher education administration.
Proficiency in Power BI and/or advanced Excel.
Salary and Benefits:Competitive salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (based on experience).
Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays.
Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs after successful probationary period.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role
