By completing the Graduate Outcomes survey – which takes less than 10 minutes – your voice will have a meaningful impact on students for years to come.

If you graduated between May and June last year, you’ll be getting contacted by the Higher Education Statistics Authority (HESA) to ask you a few questions about what you are doing now.

The graduate outcomes survey is a nation-wide poll of all recently completed students from any higher education degree programme. As a graduate of Scholars School System and a recent Alumni, you’ll be contacted to take part in the survey. The purpose of the graduate outcomes survey is to take a snapshot of UK higher education and examine how students have benefitted from a degree course.

In the survey, they will ask you if you are currently working, and will ask you some key information

Are you currently employed or in further study?

If you answer yes to employment they will ask you the following questions.

  • What is your job title or role?
  • What is the name of the company you are working for?
  • What are some of your key duties?
  • Are you in full or part-time work?

If you answer that you are in further study, they will ask you these questions

  • Are you currently enrolled in a course
  • What is the title of the course
  • Why did you choose to pursue further study?

Graduate Outcomes Survey FAQs

Graduate outcomes is the biggest annual social survey, and it captures the prospects and current status of recent graduates. All graduates who completed a higher education course in the UK will be asked to take part in the survey, 15 months after completing their studies.

The survey is conducted in blocks, 15 months after course completion. You may be contacted within a 12-week window.

If your course ended between May and August 2024, you’ll be surveyed between December 2025 and February 2026.

You may be contacted via email, phone, or text. Emails may come from:

You may also receive a text message with a survey link, or a phone call from IFF Research to record your responses.

The survey influences how education is shaped across the UK. Your responses help guide policy, improve teaching practices, and support the development of future degree programmes at Scholars School System.

The survey asks you what you are doing, 15 months after having completed your course. Are you working in a company, or have you set up your own business? Have you found work as a care supervisor or manager? Or have you decided to pursue further education
