Student's Success Stories

Returning to education was a big decision for me. I’m originally from Iraq, where I studied accounting, but after moving to the UK, I realized I needed to start again. As a mother of two boys, balancing family life and studying was a real challenge, especially in the first year. But with time, I learned to manage both, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

When I first started, I faced some difficulties, but the support I received from the Scholar School System was outstanding. Whether it was help with assignments, English language support, or personal guidance, there was always someone ready to assist. The staff were incredibly kind and encouraging — especially Shria, Larissa, Rabia, and the reception team. 

This course has helped me build confidence and opened new doors. I began as a volunteer, and now I’m ready to pursue my passion for healthcare, possibly with the NHS. To anyone thinking about returning to education - it’s never too late.
