Marketing and Social Media Manager Job Description

Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the UK which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford and Leicester is looking for a Marketing & Social Media Manager for the Birmingham branch.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes delivered in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and Central Bedfordshire College and courses ranges from Foundation Year, Higher Nationals to Undergraduate Degrees. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their journey in last five years and current student population is around 3000.

 

Reports to: Director of Marketing

 

Purpose

On a day-to-day basis the responsibilities will include to create and upload content on social media / websites / post on Google adverts, manage press releases, carry out PR campaigns on Digital Media as well as managing TV adverts. You will be expected to work closely with the Senior Executive and report to them, by keeping track of the project’s progression.

 
Responsibilities

·        Assisting and supporting the Senior Executive.

·        Ensuring deadlines are met on time to a high standard.

·        Organising and attending meetings with various community agencies.

·        Providing administrative support.

·        Looking for ways to promote the organisation's social awareness and potential partnerships.

·        Helping to create PR material for our website and social media pages.

·        Managing different sort of adverts like TV adverts, Google adverts etc.

·        Managing press releases.

 

Requirement

Essential

 

·        Experience in delivering and improving Marketing and Social media campaigns.

·        Excellent verbal and written skills.

·        Highly creative communicator with a data-driven mindset.

·        Competent in graphic/web design and familiarity with online media platforms.

·        Capable to run independently and take over responsibilities when Senior Project Executive is not present.

·        Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

·        Masters in relevant discipline.

·        Experience in Similar job role.

 

 

Salary and Benefits

·        £21,674-£25,000 per year based on experience

·        Basic hours are 9am to 6pm on site

·        Trips away from the office are often required 

·        Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

·        Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period

·        3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs
