Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Dean of Teaching and Learning for our Birmingham, and London campuses.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world-class education. Taught programs, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population being over 3000.

Reporting to: CEO

Purpose:

The Dean will spearhead academic leadership and enhance teaching and learning experiences, collaborating closely with Directors and Academic/Program Leaders.

The role involves driving educational performance, expanding undergraduate offerings, and nurturing staff development and workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic academic leadership.
Collaborate with Directors and Academic/Program Leaders.
Enhance educational performance and program offerings.
Foster staff development and positive workplace culture.
Essentials Requirements:

PhD in Education, Management, Business, or a related field.
Demonstrated excellence in research.
Proven experience in higher education leadership.
Commitment to delivering a high-quality educational experience.
Successful track record in program development.
Expertise in educational pedagogy.
Membership in a relevant professional body.
Deep understanding of diversity and equality.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and experience of OFS and QA.
Benefits:

Office hours from 9 am to 6 pm.
Occasional travel required.
28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Up to £5k in annual incentives, pro-rata, based on quarterly KPIs after a successful probation period.
3% annual salary increase upon meeting KPIs from the start date of service.
A generous relocation allowance is available for candidates considering a move to either Birmingham or London campuses.
