Feedo Needo is a body of UK CURRICULAM AND ACCREDENTIAL BODY charity organisation, our charity is a community development non- profit organisation which offers food and provisions to the most vulnerable members of our community. UKCAB is looking for a responsible Charity Worker to administer and organize all Feedo Needo projects in the advertised location.

3.      We are passionate about what we do and the difference it makes to the life of others especially regarding our food bank where we offer a sense of comfort and dignity to those who may visit our Arabica café, not only for the sole purpose of receiving hot food and drink but to also share a glimpse of community spirit, warmth, compassion and social interaction with our friendly staff.

4.     We are dedicated to a world without poverty and ending hunger as much as we are the mental wellbeing of those who visit us, we are determined to work together and reduce this number though our continued efforts in serving our communities.

5.     As a charity, we are able to accomplish our goal effectively through the help of our volunteers who contribute to our food bank weekly, and we are always welcoming of anybody who wishes to volunteer with us in any capacity.

 

Reports to: Project Manager Feedo Needo

 

 Purpose

Charity Workers will be expected to work closely with the Senior Project Executive and report to them weekly, you are expected to work independently by keeping track of Feedo Needo project's progression on a day-to-day basis. Charity Worker responsibilities will include working closely with the Project Manager assigned tasks, building relationships with cooperates and retail store, collaborating with local council, fundraise for the charity and attend networking events that are beneficial to the growth of the charity while constantly creating initiatives on how to reach more vulnerable people in your assigned centre.

Responsibilities

·       Collaborate and build partnership with like-minded organisation.

·       Ensuring task deadlines are met on time to a high standard.

·       Organizing and attending meetings with various community organizations.

·       Manage food collections from our trusted suppliers and maintain professional relationships.

·       Assist with the purchase of essential items for the Food bank.

·       Create volunteering opportunities for student, cooperate and individuals and supervise the day to day activity of the food bank.

·       Find new ways to promote the project's social awareness

·       Create PR material for our website and social media pages.

·       Attend Feedo Needo Networking events

·       Manage and run the daily activities of Arabica Cafe for the homeless.

 

 

Requirements

Essentials

·       High school diploma or equivalent education required

·       UK driving license

·       Must own a car for travelling purposes

·       Food & Hygiene safety certificate

·       Experience working as a charity worker or similar role.

·       Strong organizational and time management skills.

·       Strong communication skills.

·       Competent in graphic/web design and familiarity with online media platforms.

·       Capable to run independently and take over responsibilities when Senior Project Executive is not present.
