HR Recruitment Manager Job Description

Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford and Leicester is looking for an HR Recruitment Manager based in Birmingham campus.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

Reports to: HR Manager

Purpose

Scholars School System is seeking to appoint an HR Recruitment Manager who will be responsible for all HR recruitment cycle. You will have knowledge of employment law in dealing with queries. You will be supervising the recruitment team and give report on performance. You will coordinate with the department manager to forecast future hiring needs.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

·       Updating current and designing new recruiting procedures

·       Use knowledge of employment law in dealing with queries

·       Supervising the recruiting team and reporting on its performance

·       Implement new sourcing methods

·       Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs

·       Research and choose job advertising options

·       Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques

·       Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

·       Stay up-to-date on labour legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations

·       Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

 

Requirements

Essentials

·       Proven work experience as a Recruiting Manager, Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator

·       Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases

·       Knowledge of employment law

·       Must be CIPD level 5 qualified or above.

·       Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation

·       Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills

·       Strong decision-making skills

·       Experience of working in Higher Education industry

·       Computer and IT literate with working knowledge of databases

·       Proactively review and evaluate current recruitment strategies, exploring recruitment channels and taking an innovative approach in a competitive recruitment market

·       Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process

·       Must be confident in their abilities, significant relevant recruitment experience, not afraid to challenge and dedicated to improving the experience and service delivered to candidates.

 

Salary and Benefits

·       £30,000 - £35,000 per year

·       Basic hours are 9 am to 6 pm on site  

·       Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays  

·       Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period  

·       3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs
