Partnership Manager Job Description

Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is looking for a Partnership Manager across all campuses which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford, Leicester based in Birmingham campus.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes delivered in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and courses ranges from Foundation Year to Undergraduate Degrees. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their journey in last five years and current student population is around 3000.

Purpose

Scholars School System is looking for a Partnership Manager who can play a crucial role in expanding the company’s reach and enhancing its offerings through strategic partnerships. You will be responsible to manage existing partner relationships, identifying opportunities for further collaboration and integration.

Additionally, you will be required to scout and secure new partnerships, negotiating terms that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires continuous monitoring and analysis of partnership performance, adapting strategies to maximize benefits.

As a partnership manger, you will act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, facilitating communication and project execution to ensure the success of the partnership.


Responsibilities

·        Managing and enhancing relationships with existing partners

·        Developing strategies for partnership growth and integration

·        Identifying and negotiating deals with new partners

·        Overseeing partnership performance and ensuring alignment with business goals

·        Identify and evaluate potential new partners by analysing market trends and competitors’ partnership strategies to ensure alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

·        Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, including terms of collaboration, financial arrangements, and mutual goals, to ensure a clear understanding and expectations between parties.

·        Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partner initiatives are integrated into broader company strategies and objectives.

·        Manage ongoing partner relationships through regular communication, performance reviews, and strategic meetings to ensure continued alignment and identify opportunities for growth.

·        Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with partners in a timely and professional manner to maintain strong, productive relationships.

·        Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, including analysing data to assess the effectiveness of partnership activities and making recommendations for improvement.

·        Explore and develop opportunities for innovative partnership models to keep the company at the forefront of industry trends and opportunities.

 

Requirements

Essential

·        Must have proven experience of Business Development in Higher Education who can identify & develop strong strategic long-lasting relationships with prospective college and university partnerships within UK & worldwide.

 

·        A background in an accredited college and university administration environment, with a deep understanding of partnership processes in the UK.

·        To contribute to the institutional strategy in expansion & partnership, and to participate in the numerous boards, committees and panels of the Organisation.

·        Setting of deadlines and confirming to relevant partner

·        Preparation for all partner meetings including data collation, report writing and arranging pre-meetings

·        To ensure that the Organisation is effectively represented and promoted in local and regional forums and that information from external sources is disseminated widely throughout the campus

·        Arranging regular progress meetings

·        Will include travel to other campuses (Driver’s License Preferable)

·        Master in a relevant discipline at least 3 years relevant experience

·        Ideally at least 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in business development and account management in education.

 
Desirable

·        Proven track record in a similar role with evidence of managing and bringing new partnerships within UK Higher Education

·        Experience of working with OFS and QAA


Benefits

·        Basic hours are 9 am to 6 pm on site

·        Trips away from the office are often required 

·        Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

·        Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period

·        3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs
